Until you realize that it isn't just the hours that are off. And the software isn't that much. Since it's a loaner he shouldn't worry about it, but someone who will be in a truck awhile should just get it adjusted at next PM.

I don't think you CAN get it adjusted at any PM. Unless you own the truck, there's usually a password associated with the ecm. Forbidding employee's from changing anything.

Mine is wrong and pretty sure there's no way to fix it yourself.
Clock is wrong most of the time.. Sometimes it's right.
Been like that since I got it (with 10ml on it)

Thanks for all replies. I was able to adjust timezone to "East Brazil" and get the clock only 2 hours late. I'm now back in my assigned truck.

Needing diagnostics software to set the correct time is the most Freightliner thing I've ever heard.

Yes, this is the correct answer. If you have a Qualcomm, notice if the QC is completely off, the time is correct. Once the Qualcomm boots up, it throws the tractor clock off by 5-6 hrs depending on DST.

Freightliner would have to adjust the clock. If the idiots who installed the Qualcomm knew better they would have, but they don't, can't, and won't. And the above post about title and menu, that's for the radio clock, not the DASH clock. No this answer isn't in the manual for the Google genius either.
