I go to Waxahachie all the time and I have T-Mobile, I have perfect service. Maybe your phone isn't working properly.

I run two phones, one a Verizon and one T-Mobile. I go to school so data is extremely important to me so that's why I have two.
T-Mobile has truly unlimited data, Verizon hates data. T-Mobile has really expanded their coverage in the last 3 years, it has amazed me that they actually kept their promise. The western states still continue to be T-Mobiles downfall though. Well, east of the 5 anyway. No data at all. But I actually get better voice service through T-Mobile simply because the network switches to whichever is local in the area where as Verizon doesn't.
If I had to pick one it would be T-Mobile because of the data. Verizon still has them beat on coverage, no doubt, but the gap has closed and the unlimited data is to much to let go. -
Look into Straight Talk thru Walmart
slim6596 Thanks this. -
OTR you want coverage, period.
When I started OTR I was on T-Mobile. I could go days without any coverage if I was in the Midwest or Rocky Mountain states. I had a trainee with me that had T-Mobile and he was stuck for over a week unable to text, call, or e-mail when we broke down in Wyoming.
I switched to Verizon within my first year OTR and rarely am I out of communication. Now I run to oil rigs, often wwaaaayyyy out in the boonies. On rare occasions I might be without ability to call or get data, but can almost always send or receive texts.
Verizon is more expensive, but like any tool it's best to buy the best. It actually does the job. -
Yep, your job and route matters the most. If I ran a lot the northwest then I would go Verizon.Lepton1 Thanks this.

I did. Haven't been in an area that I previously roamed in with my other Verizon Prepaid to double check the data, but I like Selectel. I certainly have voice where I didn't in the past. I pay less than $40.00 per month for Unlimited Talk/Text with 2 Gb data. No complaints.mslashbar Thanks this.

Anyone use selectel wireless on Verizon network?
-
Does Selectel have unlimited data?
-
No $40 for 2GB, or $55 for 5GB. Both have unlimited talk and text.
