Does anyone know if there is a high volume air compressor available for the N14? I'm looking for something with more output than the stock one.

You can put a twin cylinder compressor on but keep in mind all your coolant and fuel plumbing changes as everything changes from stock. Single cylinder Holsets were never known for their performance and a lot of guys would spec a Bendix Tu-Flo 550 when I worked for Cummins for that reason. With a five axle setup it should be adequate....curious what you're experiencing.

With that Bendix Tu-Flo 550 will I still have to change the coolant and fuel plumbing from stock? I started pulling trailers with quick release air valves. When I get on some of these back roads that are ruff the trailer keeps dumping and filling the air bags putting a strain on the air system. Doesn't get me low enough to throw the low air warning on but would be nice to have something that could keep up better.Last edited: Apr 25, 2016

Go with the truflow 750 , much better.
I've had no luck with the 550. If worked in a high demand they tend to start passing oil in short time.
750 I've had no problems with.olpa77 Thanks this.
