There's more than Selectel, search for Verizon MVNO and you'll find a list.

Not like this thread needs more....

I follow the traveling online poker community, these guys hop from country to country playing the live poker tournaments, and in between make thier bread and butter online..They all swear by verizon, and verizon only...most with jet card

These are guys who cannot have a dissconnect or coverage issue

Problem with most of those companies you can't roam. With Selectel you can roam with no extra charges.

I haven't tried MVNO's, been tempted by the price difference, but grandfathered in VZW unlimited data. VZW rep told me years ago that they had cancelled all roaming leases with Sprint, the only other CDMA provider, but perhaps that's not true. There are a few corners of the US I haven't been to yet. I have had strange signal in KC, home of Sprint.

Is that the straight talk through walmart? Are they fully unlimited with no drop in speed? I want unlimited data but so far only t Mobile seems to offer it to new customers and their prices seem high for ppl with no credit

Verizon has really good service and data. Problem is working for swift you won't be able to afford them.

Thank-you for answering it. When I'm home my one Sunday each month, I spend literally all day in church (0930- 2100, minus a couple of hours in the afternoon having lunch). So far, I have enjoyed Selectel.

I might add, I ported to Selectel from Puppy Wireless just because of free roaming. Puppy will most likely get free roaming in the near future. The base price of the 2 Gb plan is the same on Selectel and Puppy. My actual cost on Puppy was a couple of dollars cheaper than Selectel due to couple of perks.

I won't be using a prepaid provider owned by Carlos Slim. He is the owner of America Movil, who operate 7 cell phone companies under the TracFone banner (TracFone, Net10, StraightTalk, Simple Mobile, Telcel, Page Plus, and Total Wireless). They use customer service reps from countries other than the US. Selectel is owned and operated completely in the US and Puppy is still a US-based company, although they have begun to farm out some of their customer service to other countries.

Well, professional meaning, the upper 5%..The only ones that make money, and Im refferring to online only...

    How? Wow......
I went in thinking Im smarter than the average kid..and they are pulling 10k a month..So I signed up, learned Phil Hellmuths top 10 hands, and began to loose money for a couple years...Studying the big winners the whole time, eventually, at the 3 year mark, i became a break even player, flat graph..which is awesome, hard to do..From there I studied coaches, and the math of it....Then I became a winner, upgraph...Then, right when I was about to have a legitimate 2nd form of income, the DOJ shut down 'pokerstars'...banned it from united stated on april 15th 2011....so, about 3 years of time, and 3k wasted...Untill i decide to leave the country to play..

Theres quite a few ways to learn, and quite a few styles that win....

I would say, goto carbonpoker sign up, play some freerolls...You might win a buck or two!! Jump in and get a taste...

This is one of the guys I follow..Every single hand played online is tracked...It is a super study-able, win-able game...The problem is, everyone else is learning and finding out too, so deeper levels of play ensue...tough to explain...just get online and go play a few hands for free get a taste first...The bug must bite

Heres one of my bugs, you can drill into his exact tournaments that he played today and see what he spent vs what he won..

    http://www.pocketfives.com/profiles/moorman1/

Pull up his profile and click on 'cashes' look what this dood did yesterday!!! Theres about 10 tournaments listed for the 24th, he made like 20k yesterday....yes, very very ridiculous
