Re: Lineage Logistics - Sunnyvale, TX (Formerly Millard Cold Store)
Anyone know any particulars about this place other then "it sucks"? I have a 23:00 load appt Sunday night and was wondering if there is nearby parking to avoid starting my clock getting there. I can drive about 4 miles without starting clock, and I can easily make delivery in Fargo starting at my usual and preferred 05:00 so I prefer not to get on some bizarre drive schedule [needlessly] if I can avoid it. I d/h'd at their Fort Worth facility Saturday afternoon so I'm resting comfortably at the Holiday Inn in Fort Worth for today/tonight.
Satellite view for nearby street parking does not look very promising if they won't let you inside the facility. Google reviews have nothing good to say about this place and not much helpful otherwise. I have managed to avoid this place until now due to multiple swaps and load plan changes in the past. I think I may have read you can not arrive more then about 30 minutes early?
Isn't there a new truck stop over off of US-80 inside the loop in Mesquite? Will proceed there tomorrow at check out if there is no parking near Lineage in Sunnyvale.
Thanks in advance.

That Walmart Supercenter might be less than four miles from your pick up point.
Ever since the T/A in Mesquite closed, it's tough around there.
I don't have to tell you, but you come in on I-20 East and stay at those truck stops at I-20 and I-35 and 45. It's a little bit out of route though. Good Luck.

There is a Fuel City now at Town E Blvd and US-80 in Mesquite however looks like there's only about 15-20 parking spaces. Not crazy about that option and the Walmart is probably too far to keep my eLog from tripping and I'm not comfortable parking there on a busy Sunday afternoon.
Getsinyourblood Thanks this. -
Well, I went to their website and called the number listed and someone actually answered at 09:00 Sunday. The guy said you can come in early to the facility and park on back row but can not check in at shipping office until after 20:00. So I'm hoping this is the case in reality. Hopefully I can also wait until after about 04:00-05:00 or so to leave the facility to beat the traffic.

They answer the phone on Sunday and you can come in early. Sounds like a pretty good shipper.

It's good for coming in early and staying after to wait on break to finish. Most trucks seem like they got in and out pretty fast but my load (5 drops) is taking forever. Been loading me 4 hours now and still not done. Dam glad I didn't arrive having started my 14. I can only hope I get out by 05:00 to beat traffic out of Dallas

Got it loaded. Pallets sideways and plumb to the back and doors won't close. Nobody's happy this morning.
