If you don't fix the problem, you're just wasting your money on the new tires.
Get it looked at sooner than later.

It's probably to late but I wouldn't let a TA do the alignment or anything else.... Find a good tire / alignment shop.

I'd keep those tires and run them on a trailer......

AlexCarHauler, Bakerman and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

Move them to drives or trailer if you are concerned.

I am not, only other then that flat spot if it is under 4/32". And then, only if I get inspected. Not concerned about safety.

I have seen a lot of those tires wear like that and I don't know if there is a reason why.

What I do know, if it was a axle bearing it most likely worn the inside far worse then the outside. Same with the kingpin or camber issue, or tie rod end or toe out.

If you had to much toe in, usually both tires would show wear on the outside. Is that the case?

Just tend to think given the cracks in the tread, that the tire has been on their a while and is just wearing like they do. Nothing unusual.

The tires look like they would still be good to run, a few flat spots here and there could be contributed to worn front shocks.

The shocks job is to keep the front tires planted on the ground, the flat spots could be caused by the tire not staying planted after hitting bumps.

It's recommended to replace front shocks every 100k whether you think it needs it or not or when new steer tires are installed.

Shocks are only $40-60 dollars depending on where you purchase them, cheap insurance versus new steers.

Lol, I haven't seen you either. I've been running Phoenix for the last three weeks straight, haven't seen you once.

I did see the other truck painted like yours a few weeks ago.

Be careful out there, I've been noticing alot of bent up guardrail on the 10 lately.
