Well now I'm convinced that I simply work too hard. At least half the time I leave the curtain open, and I'm lights out. Only time I draw it is when there is a parking lot light shining in, or I will during the day and fall asleep watching TV. There are a few movies I've seen SOO many times, they actually work as sleeping pills, 10 minutes in........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
I think everyone sits in the driver seat and ponders the universe from time to time, especially when your tired, but most of the time when the dude across from you see's you covering your eyes he snaps to that he still has his lights on. I've seen dudes park, set the brake, hop in the sleeper, that tired. Done it myself more than a few times, still do, but when I see one leave his lights on, I go knock, and give them a " YO."
The ones that get me are the ones that are afraid to drive at night to begin with, and figure out the truck has high beams.

I leave mine on. No reason to turn them off until I'm parked. I do turn mine off if I'm waiting to get past someone who is backing and I'm shining on their truck.
I figured if the good Lord of trucking has blessed us with cab curtains, anyone who can't figure out that they should use them shouldn't care if I light their truck up.123.Red Beard, FNORD, Ryan423 and 2 others Thank this. -

Simple solution. Sleep in the fuel islands....

I close my curtains.. as long as no one hits my truck,.. I care what they do or how they do it.
I try my best to avoid truck stops. People have no respect for other drivers as it is. Between team drivers coming in at 2am and decide its party time with loud music and yelling across to each other while they 'post' trip the truck for 2 hours. They bring the ghetto to the truck stop.
I usually pull out and go park on the merge ramp when stupidity and ridiculousness are prevailing forces around me.
