I am getting emails from Interstate too after I tried applying but they want 3 months experience. Still get the emails but I just put them in the promotions folder or something for future reference.

So you had the misfortune of dealing with a recruiter that made a mistake, and somehow lost your application. I've been dealing with people my entire life that are incompetent, and make mistakes in practically every situation or business I've had to deal with at one time or another. If your looking for a perfect company in a perfect World, I wish you good luck on finding it. If you really wanted to work for Interstate Distributors, I'm pretty sure you could have just filled out the application again and submitted it again. Why should this recruiter be so concerned about whether you come to work for them or not? Your the one looking for a job not her. And you claim you have been driving a truck for 38 years and you let something like this upset you so much? In the time it took you to type up and post this thread on here you could have redone your application and submitted it again.
driverdriver, Canned Spam, rachi and 1 other person Thank this. -
Ever hear of "delete"? Or "mark as SPAM?"
And no, not a millennial, a proud baby boomer, thank you. -
wow..you guys are dense...it's in the system and nothing is wrong with it, as reported by them. The point is, if you let this keep happening...it just gets worse...that's why the cameras in the cab looking at the driver....robotic trucks to take your job.....every response here is to ....Run Away. Pitifull! Nuff said you all don't care..
I posted for those who want to make things better...not worse. By the way...the real reason is that they don't care and that rotten apple at the bottom of the barrel attitude goes all the way to the top. -
and that is what i am speaking to
, millennials or whatever....that is what I'm told 3 months exp. (at what?)
thanks for responding, nothing personal.... -
I'm 53 years old, I'm definitely not a Millennial, just a sad old Baby Boomer. That's just the way things are these days. Get used to it, there's nothing you can do about it. When your lucky enough to get good service or find someone that actually cares about their job and other people, count yourself lucky... I've been driving a truck for 21 years. Another 4 years in the US Army. Nothing surprises me about the stupidity of people or their incompetence anymore.Last edited: Apr 28, 2016

Maybe it's lack of sleep getting to me, but now I want to eat a canned ham in a Ferrari.
deathB4decaf, JChors, passingthru69 and 2 others Thank this. -
Why on Earth would anyone get this butt hurt over something so trivial? Anger issues much?
Sounds like the recruiter did Interstate a favor by mishandling your application.Rooster1291979, dog-c, flightwatch and 3 others Thank this. -
I did not ask for any compassion. I realize this is what the World has evolved into over the last 40 years and there isn't anything I can do about it. I'm content with my lot in life. I see plenty of people that live a pretty lousy existence. Sooner or later this latest generation will realize they have been brainwashed and used by their Teachers and Idols. I think the best book ever written that sums up my personal Philosophy is "Ecclesiastes" I think it's the shortest book in the Bible but I'm not sure of that. It pretty much sums up what life is, has been, and always will be. I'm not a very religious person but "Ecclesiastes" is a true book of wisdom. You don't have to be religious or believe in God to understand what it's telling you about life. Try reading it and you will realize that life is what it is, and there is nothing you can do about it.
