This one has an oil leak drivers side front under the compressor. Other than that Engine is clean as a Pin. You can tell its not been cleaned in a long time. But not dirty.
Put lots of miles on the 60 series. Only one ever leaked oil, it was from the oil pan gasket. First one was in 1989. It was turned up as it was my Uncles truck. And he believed in left lane trucks. And it would run with the large cars. As the rest of the trucks were 425 cats 18 double over 379's. Back then running that one 80+ everywhere it went. We still got 2.3 MPG more then the cats in the other 38 tractors.

Sounds like you found a really good truck. I might be interested in picking it up if you don't lol.
Post a picture of it if you have one -
Talked with the guy that had owned the truck the last 3 years. He has the jake's unplugged. Engine was using a gallon of oil between oil changes. And it does have one oil leak, thinking its part if not all of the oil leak.

They weren't 3.55 but Swift used to order their FLD tractors with direct 10 speeds and 3.36 rear ends up until the mid to late 90's.
Unless you ran the I5 corridor that combination was not happening in the used market. I remember SelecTrucks swapped in a 13 speed with a .87 top gear to make them a bit more appealing.tnpete Thanks this. -
I've got a 2000 Volvo 610 with a Cummins 500 13spd 3.58 960k still pulls good, wanting a 99 though
