Anyone care to share the loop time? Ie how much you can record before it erases the old data?
-
That depends on quality/file size and memory card size.
Mine is a 1080p Dashcam.
File Length is changeable
But I set it to 3 min/video
Each file is about 325mb
64gig SD Card
And Total 6 hours before it starts overwriting.Last edited: Apr 29, 2016

As far as a straightforward dashcam you don't have to monkey with much and great video my pic would be the garmin 35 added +\- is the gps and speed info on the bottom could be a lifesaver fighting speeding tickets / now I'm more tech savy and want to make videos of nice county side like Allie knight and trucker josh does over YouTube so I would like to try a sjcam or a GoPro and go with that.

My Garmin 10 just give up the ghost. Froze up just says turning off in 15 sec. Still says the same thing after an hour.

Curious about that. This is actually 2 dual cameras separately right? The videos are on two separate SD cards (one for the right side stuff and one for the left, correct?)
Do you know how long each side goes on a card before it begins to loop?
(also to clarify. Not American made. Imported from China to Texas.) -
Yes the kit comes with 4 cams, the 2 outer cams then connect to the inside cams which record onto 2 memory cards that are included. And the cams have 3 different settings you can choose on length of time before looping 2 3 or 5 minuts before write over according to the manual, the cam view can be split into 2 or front or back I have my drivers side set to view only side view and pass side is set up split screen.
Sorry I misworded about American made. And yeah they are made overseas but I like the fact that it's a small company out of Texas that I deal with. Real good customer service I've found there.Last edited: May 3, 2016
Reason for edit: CorrectionDieselboss Thanks this. -
Almost got one, but a deal breaker..No suction cup, just that stupid adhesive mount. Great for you as an o/o, but not for changing out of company trucks.

suction cups don't last long anyways. Specially in the summer sun.
I've never been able to make em last. anyways.
