    I can tell you that mark will expect you to learn a lot of things on your own. He's not big on holding your hand and walking you through what he considers simple things like checking and reading ohms on a meter, getting the antenna system set up just right, etc. If he feels youre unable to fathom this stuff he'd likely rather not work with you. His feeling is that if you want an amazing setup you have to put some of your own brain power and time into it. The 'crank it up and ship it out' shops like bells dont care what you know. They will say stick a Wilson 2000 on it with some truck stop coax and you're good to go, and as long as the customer gets "loud and proud" reports they feel like they got a great tune up.

    That's the jist of it from what I know of it. Getting the power out put to the fundamental frequency only. I'm currently learning as well.

    That's the secret to making a stock radio talk further. Simply cleaning up harmonics and making it cleaner makes it talk further.

    I have the aarl bible,ant book,ohm meter, mfj field strength meter,mfj 259b....
    swrs are low..impedence sits around 60 till i get up in the upper last 10 cb channels..My comp 10k is on its own 6" shaft which is mounted a 40" shaft useing a mirror mount type mount from a company called ftl..Even my ant stud is the heavy duty alum wilson stud..
    Even they made a diff in reception...
    Yes i do have a clue but im learning as i go trial n error..
