I had a Keurig and tried everything to get a coffee I liked. I even bought the basket to put my own coffee in but just couldn't beat my Mr. Coffee.

Kroger's brand of breakfast blends (pictures of pancakes on one of em!) is ##### good.
I'm still using the Mr. Coffee my self, as well however! LoL.

At home I have a Technivorm which is 1500 watts. Makes the best coffee on earth. $$$ but worth it and will last forever. Very simple.

For a truck i would try cold brew. The Whole Foods I worked at had a huge one that they would immerse grinds into. Will try to get the name of it.

Being from NE I love iced coffee all year round and at 0 degrees.

I have a Presto MyJo which uses the K-Cups, and includes a k-cp filter to use your own loose coffee. It cost about $20, you heat water however you like and pour it it, and manually press the cap to force the hot water through the K-cup

This is the K130, it's made for hotel rooms and is only 600W compared to the 1400W ones they sell for home use. It works great with my 1000W company installed inverter. I've put probably 500 k-cups through it in the couple years I've had it. Amazon sells it for around $80. It's solid and reliable image.jpeg

Nothing like driving 300 miles straight without stopping, pulling over and having a great cup of coffee.

Great thread. I'm running regional and hate running into places for coffee. Im switching to a newer truck this weekend and it has an inverter. Currently, I've been using instant if im lazy, or a French press. I use a butane camp stove for hot water. I have one with the grate, like a tabletop version, and also have a pocket rocket butane stove. The rocket takes up barely any room in the truck. Butane doesn't have the hazardous byproduct that propane has so that's the way you would want to go. It's nice having hot water on truck for coffee, tea, a burner for food...and even a warm face cloth. Lol. Even having the inverter to switch to, I'll keep using the burner. It's very handy.

I have a Keurig. The only thing that I hate about it is sometimes the seal on the little K cup gives out and it spews coffee grounds out everywhere. I have figured out it helps to shake the K cups before putting it in and once in a while I run just plain water through it to rinse it out.

I'm looking into a single serve coffee maker this weekend, sawmill. I don't know if one is better than any other. Kuerig seems pretty popular though. Next thing I have to work on is getting a urinal installed! Lol
