I was just curious as to whether or not any Action Resources drivers participate on this site. Action is a specialty chemical company of around 500 units headquartered in Hanceville, Alabama primarily pulling DOT 407's. I am a company driver for Action and have been so for a bit over a year now. I would be happy to try and answer questions should you have one.

Only rule is this: Don't expect a sugar coated answer. If it is good, I'll tell you. If it is bad, I'll tell you. What you do with the information thereafter is on you and you alone.

    Be safe!

Do roll-off drivers really get more home time than tankers?

What does 24% load pay typically translate to? (Recruiter said ~1000/week, but we know how recruiters are.)

Do they really get you home if you give them a few days notice?

    Thanks!

What about the Van side? They are paid mileage, so do you have any idea what the mileage pay range is ($0.45-$0.50, etc)?

Is orientation still done in Hanceville or when Corporate moved to Birmingham, did that change the orientation location?
