Publix Drivers have to start in the store or the warehouse. There is a 2 year waiting list to drive trucks for Publix rumor has it. Definitely a sweet lick with great benefits though. Actually according to the Publix Hiring Page its 8 to 10 years.... Crazy

When I lived near Nashville it was a minimum 10 yr. wait for UPS warehouse workers to move in to driving and seemed to be that for the whole country. Publix would be worth the 2 yr. wait comparatively speaking.
