For it wasn't for the world's economy right now, some third world trucking company would snatching these up and doing deletes. Oh nevermind, you said you've already seen that!bzinger Thanks this.

Hate to say it but Mexico always been the go to market for our unwanted equipment .
-
They do like their internationals too. 10 years ago everything coming across the border was a JB or Schneider international cabover
-
Yep and still see the occasional wal mart 9670 .
-
Not surprising since the Prostars are made in Mexico.

That's an idiotic turn of events. I realize this isn't the political section but its true when its said that Mexico's laughing at us. Why don't they just make clean burning money and we can lite it on fire.Last edited: May 2, 2016

Well a Prostar has no resale value to begin with. Add in a Maxxforce and it's practically impossible to sell. Fact: If you have a dealer license International corporate remarket (big fleet trade-ins) will call you and beg you to take them at a reasonable offer. So yeah that price is believeable. And if they can sell it at that they'll make money on it.

I met an OO on Sunday who had one. I asked him he complained about putting money in it. I asked how much, $500. From this forum they sound like a time bomb.

Every once and a while you'll hear of someone who got real lucky and hasn't much trouble out of one. I'd never take the chance myself though.
