Sitting in Mobile waiting for sni to figure a load out for me seeing as the one I was to pick up left out last night.

Customer gave me trailer number, trailer isn't here. Shipping guy said it went out last night. Sni pings trailer and tells me it is here. I tell them no, since I looked and shipping had record it went out.

So now I'm still here, 3 hours later, waiting for something.

At least the humidity is low and the temp is nice and I'm under a tree.

    Positives. Right?

I always maintain a thumbs up for JBH. They had me on the Wild Trailer Chase in SoCal once. Went to 3 different locations, according to their satellite their was a trailer there. 4th location found one. Went into rush hour. Got loaded though.
Told the DM " Look man, they don't even make state prisoners do stuff like this."

So after sitting for four hours while they were figuring out this issue; I get a call back. I'm told to find truck number xyz at pick up, that driver has the load, he never left. Sni says he picked up an mt but grabbed that, I asked if he had the bol and sni said, yes.

Find guy, get him unhooked, hook to trailer and I'm good to go.

What he told me, was he picked up mt, got assignment to pick up load, misread thought load was ready but it wasn't. Once load was ready, he picked it up but was out of time and parked. Once he got up in the morning he didn't have the time to deliver the load and told his dbl.

So instead of sending a message telling me that he had the load and was in the lot up front and to just get the trailer, I end up wasting time.

Next time use the app. On any pu of a new to you trailer it should show any defects and its fairly recent location. You can even map it. App links to google maps satellite view.

The app only works if sni knows the trailer number and it's on the work assignment already. This place gives you trailer number once you give them bol number.

Does work otherwise and is quicker than wandering yards like a nomad.
