trailer license cost

In Nebraska it costs less than $20 0for my 42' grain hopper.

 

Just registered a trailer in Tn last Friday.
$93 for title and a permanent plate.
Give them a dot number and sign the tax waiver form stating the trailer will be used for commercial interstate commerce, and you don't pay any sales tax.

 

What type of plate do I purchase for my semi-trailer?
A semi-trailer plate (ST) is permanent and not transferable. Trailer registration for semi-trailer plates or apportioned full trailer plates is $19. You may also purchase "T" apportioned trailer plates, but this must be pre-approved by the Commercial and Farm Truck Division.

One thing IL did right...

 

Hate to say it but trailer registration costs should go up .....

$1500 and up for a truck and $100
For a trailer. Maybe $800 for each would be a start. And the megas with their large trailer pools could take the loss.....
