New truck manufacturer Nicola!!!

That's exactly what it looks like, an overgrown electric car. Not talking down the Volt, but I want my truck to look like a truck.

Besides, there's no side boxes for your tools and stuff, and how do you access the motor? Looks like there is no hood at all, so does the cab tilt like a cabover?

I dunno..... I think it's about the ugliest, most useless excuse for a big truck that I've seen.

 

Sure this plastic concept truck is lighter than a long hood kw. The drive train as a whole weighs what in comparison to a typical set up? And at what cost?

Now that you mentioned cabover design. What happens when the front left fender is crushed by a noob driver backing into a spot next to you.

Entire cab replaced?

Partial glass panel replacement?

The industry is obviously going down this road but I wont be one of the first to dip my toes in the pool. Let someone else have that pain. Whats with the narrow sleeper? And the name Nikola?
