That is a valid synopsis. When I was doing that western regional for JBH years ago, that's when Fed Ex seemed REALLY bad. I said the same thing for years, most dangerous drivers.

Another one just killed a flatbed driver, stopped in the #3 of 4 on EB I-10 in Cabazon, California Wednesday, in broad daylight, no obstructions, visibility for miles. My run. I was there post-wreck. Make the run about 8 times a month, day, night, whatever....it was a no excuse stretch of I-10 my grandmother could run right now, in her sleep, and she is dead. Two dopey truckers, one a typical Fedwrecks throttle junky, the other an idiot flatbed, day cabber. The Fed Ex guy will be done. He's finished.

I use to look at that when I first started driving truck, and after nearly being run into, or off the road a dozen times, and think WTF? What is unsafe then?

Said the flatbed stalled and the driver that was killed was on the trailer trying to get Fed Ex to stop, and he got launched after the collision.
Here's the thing. Unless somebody changed it, that's double nickel zone.
Here's the other thing, he hit a stationary object in front of him, in a double nickel zone.
In my opinion, Lucy you got some splanin' to do.
Hope the flat bedder didn't have family to take care of, hope he pullin' something for the Lord now.
