google worthington vs Trevor Milton. I didnt find any lawsuits but a whole list of stuff comes up about him. First he was CEO at Hybrid, then CEO at Worthington, now CEO at this company.

 

Im a bit strange anyways but that would bug the sheet out of me not having a drivers door. I cant even ride passenger in a vehicle if the window doesn't go down which is probably 50 percent of the company trucks on the road from not being used. You could say im the poster child for claustrophobia.

 

My issue would be if you were in an accident and needed to exit quickly,.. is that the only door? What if its on its side? What if your on fire? That would probably be the deal breaker for me.

One article says they are already using them to deliver fuel to their stations. Dont guess Ive ever seen one on the road though? The first 5000 orders get the free fuel. Others have to pay $1.50 a gallon, which is still better than diesel cost.

 

Yeah. Call me a skeptic but none of those pictures of any of those things look real to me. Look more like very well done computer generations. More like somebody's concept truck who's looking for some speculators to invest in it. Pass.

 

The picture is just a 3D model the trucks are not in production, it is $1500 to reserve with 100% refund. meaning if they do not get enough orders it wont happen. Don't have time for a thorough read but a few things jump out at me here:

First one was 2000 horse power.

• NEVER PLUG IN - TURBINE CHARGES BATTERIES AUTOMATICALLY WHILE DRIVING

• 1/2 THE FUEL COST PER MILE COMPARED TO DIESEL

10 - 15 MPG

"Stopping Distance Under Full Load Less than 150 ft" They have magic tires cause my truck could stop in that distance to if the tires could keep grip. @ 150 ft I'm guessing the load goes through the windshield?

It could well be vapor ware, but you wouldn't get hurt bad for $1,500 deposit (refundable if the company doesn't go broke), and take the $5,000 per month lease option with free fuel.

Maintenance? That's the big gamble. They claim 10-15 MPG's, and a 150 gallon tank, and a 1,200 mile range. If you take 10 times 150, that works out to 1,500 mile range. So maybe their math skills aren't so good..., or there is more to that story.

 

Getting it worked on is the biggie, I'm guessing that it would have to go to their shop or a certified dealer. Which I am sure would be very few and far between, which you would have to, because no one will know how to work on it. I bet it would make the current shop charge of $80-$110 an hour look cheap. I could just see dot inspecting it, scratching their heads.
