I've had a few. Not long ago, I dreamt I went off the road and rolled it. My ex-wife was in the sleeper, so it's all good.
Does anyone else have trucking nightmares?

As a mechanic, I have these nightmares, except all the bad stuff happens to other people.
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
Used to have one recurring dream where I would be driving along and there was a big accident and everyone stopped ahead, but then there was no brake pedal down there. Always ended up in a field then dreaded the thought of calling the boss saying I wrecked his beautiful 6nz w900L.
Haven't had that dream since I started my own gig. Figure I felt like I was not in control of my life ... that was back in my days of multiple logbooks and driving around like a zombie much of the time..Getsinyourblood Thanks this. -
HaHa the losing steering actually happened to me a few years ago. I was going across 70 in Kansas up and down those hills. I heard something pop and the truck started drifting into the left lane (luckily it was about 2 in the morning). I grabbed the wheel and tried to guide it back to the right lane. The steering wheel turned but not the wheels. I finally got it stopped just before it hit the median. Wore that jake brake and that brake pedal out.Lepton1 Thanks this.

I had the same dream. Also, I have a few of them where either my truck was stolen or missing where I last parked it and/or I find my truck stripped and at times a different truck overall.

I've had the stolen truck one before too ... go inside the truck stop, come back out. Dang I must have forgotten where I parked it. Look all over entire parking lot, it's gone. Guess someone wanted my old freightliner lol

Glad I'm not the only one.
When I first started driving I would have crazy weird dreams. Not the usual weird but very far out. Think it was from the truck idling -
Nope...I do have 'daymares' !! But Im sure thread author would prefer daymares have its own thread and not infect his...
pressing on.......lol -
Now that it's been mentioned, I've had the "stolen truck" dream a few times too. Someone PLEASE interpret this for me....!

I think it means you have a fear of heights.
