I hit a bridge; how hard will it be to find another driving job? Can someone recommend a second chance carrier that will hire me? I want ungoverned truck, paper logs, home on weekends.
mjd4277, justa_driver, bzinger and 6 others Thank this. -
Is it not a requirement for Fed ex and Swift to wreck something?
-
As someone who has hit a bridge, in a car carrier no less, it took several years and a lawsuit to get back on top. In my defense the bridge/overpass was over 13'6" and I was empty.KANSAS TRANSIT Thanks this. -
I understand and also not all bridge heights are correctly marked. Saw a flatbed hit a interstate overpass and totaled some type of John Deere equipment. What happened is the road had asphalt added but the road crew didn't change the clearance sign. He was right behind me and I saw it happen in my mirrors.Canned Spam Thanks this.

You mean it was supposed to be over 13'6" but wasn't? Did they repave and not repost signs?
-
Believe it or not hitting a bridge will only get you a suspension at some companies.skinnyb01, sxdime and Canned Spam Thank this.
