Don't be shocked op and I don't care how many jobs you've had , k@b well known scumbags , donating your last paycheck to the company is pretty much standard practice for the privilege of being a meat hauler , van wyk is the only meat hauler I've ever driven for that didnt pull some funny biz ...when I left zeitner they helped themselves to my escrow cause I got loaded late and delivered late ..they're all the same .

Unless you signed something agreeing they can dock your pay for damages (did you?) you should report it to the labour board.

Their recourse is to pay you the wages owed, then sue you for damages. They will have to submit estimates to the court for review and you will have a chance to provide your evidence.

I know,i was basically saying the op should have given kb a chance.Three weeks isn't even close to really knowing what a company is like. But that's his business.

In another thread he said that he didn't like being on the road so that's why he quit.

You're going to Gordon now? If you hated the OTR life in a K&B truck you'll hate it just as much in a Gordon truck. Evaluate what you want to do brother because having a dozen jobs in a year will make you unhireable.

    WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!
This is why this type of activity takes place.
Because of drivers like you who aren't willing to stand up for themselves.
It one of the largest reasons our industry is in the shape its in.

The problem is..this guy changes jobs like he changes clothes...yes k&b is bad as many jobs as this driver has had...his credibility is in the toilet.

Yeah that's true we shouldn't let these companies crap all over us but in this case the OP admitted the dents happened on his watch. Whether he caused them or not I don't know but it sounds like K&B does have a leg to stand on.
