Costco doesn't rent cars. Your membership gives you discounts on car rentals.

It would depend on how the driver runs. Im pretty much driving out my ours and then takeing my 10 in the sleeper. I dont have time to sight see.

Oh. Still, I don't recall hearing about that either. I'll check that out then.

Being from California, I would hang out at a friends house getting my 34 hour reset before loading my produce to head back to the east coast.

They don't rent cars but they offer member pricing for car rentals. We usually go with enterprise, but I believe they have a member price for Hertz and Budget as well.

One of the major advantages of working power only. I am bobtail at least 25% of the time. And lazy these days, doing maybe 75k miles a year, plenty of time for the professional tourist. Bike with me all the time, rental cars, use the tractor. Killing this weekend waiting for the NBA playoffs in Toronto to finish Monday night so I can take the generator that powers the TV trailers back to Cleveland. Stop and smell the roses, I get paid to be places some folks spend thousands to get to and stay.

I'm not new and woke up to 5.5 hours left on my 70, I drove 150 miles and dropped and became the tourist for the day,

You are so lucky if you never watched Breaking Bad, the best tv series ever.
I wish I could have it wiped from my memory so I could relive it.
Start at the beginning and watch it in order, once Gus arrives, you'll be hooked.

In my former career as a machinery dealer, I used to drive all over the country (Europe too) to buy/sell equipment.
Most of what I've gotten to see in this world has revolved around work of some sort.

Deciding to drive professionally now has been in a large part based on the idea of traveling and tourism.
