You will have to ask recruiting.

cargo can be a good company especially for beginners. It really just depends on the dispatcher you get as to what kind of experience you will have. I won't lie to you it is slow right now. which is kind of weird considering this is normally our busiest time of year. Personally I am always on the lookout for a better opportunity. But lots of people come here and do well. Lots of micromanagement. But you could do a lot worse than cargo.

Hey Robroy, just as Smurf said, it has been kinda slow. My last 3 weeks have been 1829, 2192, 1586, and this week I should finish with 2400. I have only broken 3000 twice in almost the year. I expect to have 120000 hub miles at my one year mark. Hopefully after Memorial Day, it will pickup. 2300 would be considered an average week here. If you can average 2346 per week, there is a performance bonus of 02./mile for cracking 30500 for the 13 week quarter.

I got the one in Jacksonville! They also suck! Got a door pretty fast. Waited 45 mins before it went red. Then almost two hours loading! WTF Can you possibly being doing for two hours to load 18 pallets??? If I was the Manager I would fire them ALL!

    gntorres61 Thanks this.

Seems like its be low miles there since Jan 2016. Yet there hiring. Whats there to look up to there? The 2 months of training? Then low ball miles. How can one earn much of a living there? What can be good about the place? the inconsistent miles on the low side? the training or the benefit package. I hear its a good place yet im wondering what is so good about making low money and sitting? Oh well.

If you can do six shifts in a payweek rather than five, it may help you get the miles you are looking for. Lately, I have been getting 48 hours off instead of 36. Getting home weekly can be a disadvantage.
