2016 Volvo. Whenever a decent- to large-sized bump gets to trailer tandems, darn near get whiplash from the bouce/jerk/whatever. Can't figure it out! Have balanced the load, have slid 5th wheel, changed trailers, same story. Never had this problem with other Volvos. With this truck, any loaded trailer is like this. Had alignments, balanced tires, etc, also, no difference. Any suggestions?

Maybe it's the difference between air ride trailer versus spring ride?
Spring ride trailers allow you to feel the bumps twice!KB3MMX, Dominick253, unloader and 3 others Thank this. -
I think these are all air ride

I'd definitely have that checked, takes minutes.BlueGenie8476 Thanks this.

Most shops should have a tool to check that. Looks like this.
Takes all of 5-10 minutes to check.BlueGenie8476 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
The roads are getting worse and worse. Also, check the cab shocks, they do wear out. Guess on a 2016 they should be ok though.
KB3MMX, BlueGenie8476 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
Man you ain't lieing there. They fixed the 40 in Arizona. Hadn't been up 5 through California in awhile, buy is that a chuck hole long wtf bumby ride now.

Hard ride on a trailer sounds like Air Bag problem....I would double check all the bags to make sure none are broken as this has happened to me on a trailer with air-ride. Petro/ TA can do a quick inspection and repair.
