Those ISX run good or they don't. If you have to do parked regens daily while driving, there is something wrong and you will know it when you're getting horrid fuel mileage. The 435 ISX is a turd. Not sure if the 485 HP will be any better.

You have what is called an X2 rating. You can have it turned up to 500 hp. If I were you I would get the 485 hp 1850 ft lb torque rating if your clutch and trans will handle it. You will feel a 200 ft lb torque difference in it.

Hey Volt. I don't know if you were as aggravated as me, but why can't ppl just answer questions. Yes, you can raise hp and torque (torque not so much without spending a fortune), usually to about 550 to 600 and there are factors that any Cummins shop will share if you know someone there or pry hard enough. On a petty note, I have never understood why ppl are ok with turning a truck down to nothing but not up. You will get a thousand answers why you shouldn't do it. Really, they don't want you blowing by them on the road.
