Well theres a huge range, getting your feet wet will cost a little, i dont know your market but up here a driver can get anything from 20 to 26 a hour m-f work, 50 to 80 grand regional/line haul, you can even make 19 to 22 a hour running walking floor or semi roll off.

 

I always suggest going after a shop that runs both A and B trucks, you have a proven track record for B work and the desire for A. Even if its not too dollar, its experience, and that leads to top dollar.
