15 spd trans

A little more about that "funky" shift pattern.....
Used to be an overdrive Roadranger transmission came standard with the "funky" high gear against the dash shift pattern. Most often they were ordered with the optional direct shift pattern which is the standard today.

 

I didn't know you could get the 15 over with high gear back rather than at the dash. I've never driven anything with a 10 speed before (18 and 15 so far) so I was going by what others have told me in the past about the 10 vs 15 speed. Good to know.

 

Guys it's called an X-cover, that's what made all the rr overdrive back.
