unit looks well maintained. has 290000 miles on motor.
if maintained proper how many miles can a guy get ojt of this truck.

Those trucks are horrible don't waste your time. In this business its either the dually for the fuel mileage, or the semi for real longevity. Don't even consider medium dutys. They last the same as the dually without the good fuel mileage.
Dodge is the best out of the 3, with the duramax being #2. I wouldn't run either without deleting the emissions. -
@Terry270 what are the best semis for longevity? I convinced the fiance to eventually join us over in the dark side.

Good news! Lol. Like many others I recommend something with a pre egr(03 and older) Detroit 12.7
I have 2 of them and really the only other thing I would consider owning is a CAT 3406. But even those usually call for a rebuild earlier than the Detroit and cost literally twice as much to inframe. I would consider the Cummins N14 to be the #3 option.clara Thanks this. -
