But once you get a 1-year card issued for whatever reason, there's no going back to a 2-year card? Am I correct on this? I got a 1-year card for "borderline" BP. it checks fine on my home gadgets, then at the doctor it's a little high.
Do prospective employers frown on having a 1-year card over a 2-year?

No it's determined at each physical as needed. Idk how cos look at physical card lengths .

That's a relief. Sounded like a driver was permanently stuck with a shorter term card once they were ever issued less than 2-year card.
It's easier and less expensive to get a gun license. Talk about regulation. Geez. -
Another reason you can get a one-year card is if you respond "yes" when asked if you're taking any medications.
BUMBACLADWAR, notread and flood Thank this. -
Be careful with that advice. I'm not sure it is 100% accurate. There was language on the old exam forms that seemed to suggest otherwise with 1 year cards because of blood pressure problems. With this new medical card database it might not be that easy now.
