Would being 81k mty be a pita?

Ps I don't know how long I've been wondering what mty stands for but I just figured it out

Yes, it would on two fronts.
First, Being 81k would result in having to buy overweight permits when empty and repositioning to pick up a load. Significantly more expensive - $210 OSOW vs $60 OS in texas for example.

Second, At 81k you cannot stack both the jeep and booster because it becomes a divisible load. This will result in even more cost to move empty as in states like LS, AL TN you would require an escort for length. Plus the OSOW will restrict hours of travel in alot of states like NM.

that is why 13 axle setups are even more complicated than 9/10/11axle setups.

I can verify that on the 13 being a pain just even mty. That and most are 9 wide or even 10 wide

I was almost 93k mty.. for our slow Canadian hauler in Texas that means unloaded. Nothing on the deck. Lol
Then 105 feet long and 9 feet wide
