IIRC, the overpass U-turns in Midland had signs directing trucks to make two lefts rather than use the U-turn ramp. Stupid interchange design there anyways.

With that said... WHY? but WHY turn around under that bridge? WHY? So stupid... -
In Texas, the city loop highways have frontage roads on both sides, and an overpass over the city roads. If you are on the eastern side of the highway, travelling northbound, and your destination is on the western side, you need to make a U-turn. The overpasses have a dedicated U-turn lane under them, but it's a bit tight and usually signed no trucks.
