I would think every company wants drivers with no preventables. Can't think of any companies that require a preventable to get hired. Swift might but I'm uncertain.

The snack food distributors? 80k to start? Holy cow!

Ya got guys humping back breaking cases of beer and soda for maybe 60k. Then snyder-lance comes in with super light snack bags of pretzels and crackers making 80k. Haha

I actually mail order a large tin from Utz several times a year. Gotta have my chips from the old home land.

If you ever pick up or deliver on Hannover. Go to the store. Great prices and fresh products.

I'd imagine all the fuel hauling outfits require no preventables. But then again it depends on the severity of the preventable with most, if not all of them. So far I've applied to three of them for their better scheduling and I've gotten jack due to a rollover accident from 2007 still haunting me. Luckily, another year until that completely falls off the ten year.

Where are you originally from? I grew up in Taneytown, Md just about 30 mins from Hanover,pa. I remember going on field trips as a kid. The Grandma UTZ home style in the brown bag are the best.

Fair question. Im out of Baltimore. When I was young you could go down the inner harbor area and have a shipyard job, pepsi job, dominos sugar job, jobs jobs and more jobs. Later when I approached adult hood, ship yard went away you have a condominum towers there now for old people. And the pepsi plant was replaced by a sports field. Similar trends all over the city. Ergo no jobs.

I lived in Carroll county to escape the city later in life for many years. Figured I will die in Carroll County with my situation such as it is. Anyhow. A Arkansas Trucking outfit gave me a chance to sign on with them and roll. I ended up meeting my spouse and getting married here in Arkansas.

Once I realized just how fierce and free Arkansas is compared to a Nazi state (No offense please) exhibited by Maryland, I woke up so to speak. I will always travel to visit the old home land, but there is nothing much left there for me. So I make a new home these last 20 years or so. I feel fortunate. Very fortunate.
