Hey guys
Just started with Coke Consolidated as a Bulk driver about 2 months ago. And got my CDL back in December (very lucky)
Anyway I'm making $18.78 an hour starting out.. Do you guys think that's low for a bulk driver? Haven't asked my fellow drivers out of courtesy, but I wonder if I the wage I'm making is really low..
Am I underpaid?

Yes! If you drive a truck for a living, you are underpaid regardless what you make.

Its ok to start for a bulk driver. Around these parts its 20/hr. But you also run 2 lane mountain roads everyday in 8 axle sets.

Did coke tell you What you would be making before you got hired?I don't think that's a bad starting wage at all. Some of the companies I'm seeing is hiring between 12 and 14 an hr.j_martell and BoxCarKidd Thank this.

Is it preset raises till top out? I.e. 50 cents every 6 months till you hit cap? Not bad for starting either way. Just remember that the longer your a clean driver, the more you should expect.

Almost 19 bucks an hour to start with practically zero experience and you think might be getting underpaid?!

My friend says if you want to know how much a colleague makes, look at what car they drive (granted they are still paying for it). It's not perfect but it's an idea.
