What pisses me off is its a simi that crossed a double yellow. I mean hell that means unsafe for both sides to pass. That section of the he was passing on to begin with is tight.. He had no business at all going into that lane... None!!!
Him being a total moron cost another person there life, that crap aint fair, it aint fair at all.
Im sorry if I come off heated, but alot of us drive these roads day in day out we all know better. Our actions should never cost a person their life.

Night running took a lot of that stress and heartache away. Everyone goes night buh bye, we are just coming off for 600 to 1000 miles to go by morning.
In the morning.Lepton1 Thanks this. -
Ah Tex, you opened up one of my biggest pet peeves! Motorhomes that are rented to foreign tourists that are totally unfamiliar with anything larger than a pregnant roller skate, and are also unfamiliar with our driving rules and regulations. They also know that in the vast majority of cases, if they get in trouble, tickets or crash, they will likely be back home long before the court date. So, the not only don't know, they don't care...

Well, nothing in this life is fair after probably the first grade. It sucks, but it is the way it is.Toomanybikes Thanks this. -
Yessuh! The truck driver can expect to go to jail on this. When I was first learning to drive with trucks. I was told never to pass as a truck doesnt have the get up and go like a personal car. Best off to wait it out and get there when you can.
Nope dont feel for that truck driver. Some really bad driving there.KillingTime Thanks this. -
Hope he does jail time. Unbelievable.

The only time I've ever felt comfortable passing anything not on a highway would either be a tractor, or an Amish buggy on the Northern Indiana flats where the roads are straight, level and you can see daylight for 3 miles ahead. And even then there's a little 5th gear cruising to get a feel for the scenario at hand.
Other than that, I'm reminded of a line from the tune 'The House That Peterbilt' by Clutch: 'I always take my time. A maverick moon miner sippin' sunshine.'
You can't rush and drive, fellas.mjd4277, lovesthedrive and Blackshack46 Thank this. -

I've had 4 wheelers ride my butt for 20 or 30 miles coming out of ny into pa and on more than one occasion they stopped where I pulled off for a 30 to try and tell me how to drive. To which I always reply calmly that it wasn't safe for me to pass or go faster. And in the event of an accident they will most likely die and I will be fine. But they never seem to understand I'm driving responsibly. They just think I'm a dumb big truck driver slowing them down. SMH
