I love to read all the claims, 5-15% better fuel economy, pass head light inpection with Wipe New!, boost Cetane rating, scrubber wiper blades, bug removing washer fluid, fog removing window wipes etc...Usually I'm disappointed; with a few exceptions, but overall most claims seem like a scam.
My favourites are Huges Anti-gel, Rain-X, and Lucus injector cleaner (in gasoline engine).

Ive heard Motorkote is good.

RainX has got me convinced. Seems to make the water bead up and keeps windshield especially cleaner for a bit longer. Any of that "better mpg" is all snake oil. Watch them all come out of the woodwork again when fuel goes up again.

I think Air Tabs look hideous, and I don't think they really do anything-other than remove money from your wallet.
TheDude1969, LumbraX, fordconvert and 4 others Thank this. -
People I have talked to swear they keep the mirrors cleaner and also .1-.2 gain in mpg. I am still not sold. Fuel is still relatively cheap lol
TheDude1969 and bzinger Thank this. -
I've tried that Seafoam stuff in my old 360 V8 Dodge. Down the brake booster line and sit for 15 minutes. Went for a rip and it smoked for miles. Could hardly see the tailgate. At first I figured it was literally smoke and mirrors until another guy tried the same thing on a freshly rebuilt 350 Chevy. Hardly a puff of smoke out of it. On a side note I've tried stop leak additives for oil and cooling systems (on old beaters, never anything nice) and most of it isn't worth the bottle they put it in. I tried Lucas power steering stop leak. It may have slowed it down a bit (mainly because my power steering fluid gained about 50 viscosity points) but it was just easier to stick a new rack in it and keep going.

1.5% in fuel savings if you stop eating frozen burritos
TheDude1969, ExOTR and bzinger Thank this. -
RainX is awesome, I have it on all my vehicles, plus glass shower doors.
TheDude1969 Thanks this. -
I had good luck with Flex-Seal. Sprayed in on the fiberglass roof of a straight truck in a light rain and the leak stopped in a couple minutes. That was two years ago and that crack is still sealed. I have used it on a number of different surfaces and it has worked as advertised, as long as the crack isn't too wide to bridge.
TheDude1969 and rachi Thank this.
