What to wear while driving the truck

I think flip flops can look ok, it depends on how the rest of your clothes look and the weather. If you're wearing nice cargo shorts and a button down shirt or polo, then I don't think flip flops would take away from that too much. Also try to get quiet flip flops, not the kind with the thick soles and go flop flop flop real loud as you're walking.

 

I wouldn't be caught dead in flip flops , jogging suit or sweat pants .
If the weather is warm it's Jean shorts , nikes and a collerd shirt .
If it's cold or its a load or unload day I wear jeans and work boots .
If really cold the carhart gear comes out .

 

In case it hasn't been said enough. Wear comfy stuff. I wear a t shirt, gym shorts and flip flops while driving. Got a pair of sneakers next to me for whenever I jump out (no one needs to see my big ### feet). And pants, boots and vest in the back if it's required at a customer.

I drove wearing the pants and boots and vest for the first week. Then one day I was too lazy to get out of my pajamas and after that my wardrobe while driving changed dramatically.

 

i don't understand the flipflop thing, especially while at the urinal. there's nothing like having pee splashed/shot on you from either side while you're draining the main vein. some people have no concept of aiming. I've always worn steel toe boots while on duty.

 

There's a reason a lot of guys run with the seat on the floor!
