2183 for last week. Thought I broke 2500 but I was wrong. If I didn't take the run to Ohio last weekend, it would have been 1700 plus.

I'll probably see the Rocky Mt. yard more than Claremont. I park in Latta SC and hopefully having that facility will make it easier to get loads home and back out.

Came outta the house today and broke down on the entrance road to my pickup at QVC Rocky Mount. Both the check engine light and the generic engine light came on AGAIN. Called the shop and they are sending me a swap tractor on a wrecker AGAIN. Asked my fleet leader if it was possible I could get a different tractor. This one has broken down seven or eight times in the one year I had it. He replied "yes, I am working on it. This is definitely an issue."
I said "good. Have had enough of this." Four times def issue (engine lights) once for battery (loose connections) once for transmission, once for water pump/fan belt/radiator. Towed seven times. Never thought I was hard on a truck. At least my tires have not blown out. I think it will be taken care of. If not.........I may be forced to resign. We will see. I have been patient enough with this truck. That's for sure.

I see they are looking for drivers in my area, near Roanoke Rapids, and I've heard good things about the company but I have a serious problem with driver facing cameras that record 24/7/365.

Bossman, the reality is those DFC are coming to a trucking company near you. They record 8 second loops and then discard if no event is triggered. If a hard brake or hard swerve triggers it, don't be caught with a cellphone in your hand. If you bump a dock or connect to your trailer hard, that will trigger it as well, but those events are quickly discarded. Some will record if speeding by more than 14 mph. You might get a text to slow down and be wary of the speed limit. Otherwise, it can save a company's butt and you too if not your fault. It will prove liability and I would rather have it than not. It will not record you and your junk ( lot lizard, girlfriend or wife) if you are in the sleeper. In our trucks, we have curtains that cover the windshield and camera. Please don't let that deter you from coming here. These cameras have saved millions of dollars to companies that used them and have exonerated many a driver. Thats why companies use them. It can HANDLE THE TRUTH!

But you don't need video of the driver.

Cellphone records will be obtained in any serious wreck and will clear or condemn you just as easily as the camera would.

The issue I don't like with the driver facing camera is the other issues. Reaching for cb mic. Eating a bite of food. Sipping your coffee. Let's say a family loses control or a drunk driver crosses median and hits you as you looked the other way to check your mirrors and took a sip of your coffee. It's now on video a lawyer could likely still use that against you in a civil suit. And if you think cargo will have your back (or any company) you better bet they'll throw you to the dogs faster than you can blink an eye.

Probably not too far away from having them in your car. My car already has a little box that records a bunch of info during an accident.
