just got here and there are about a 1000 trucks lined up the street and it appears closed. I'm assuming they open early at 6am? I supposedly have a 6am appt as per
my company but I'm just wanting to check and see if anyone knows what the procedure is here. Is it first come first served or is it all appointment times?

Well got there about 30 min early and was given an assigned spot across from the docks to wait but before I could get parked, they called me and gave me a door. Took about 2 hours total until paperwork was in my hand so not too bad for a live unload

That's a pretty good place now. It was horrible when it was a Fleming Foods warehouse.

Must have been a company thing, the old Fleming Foods warehouse in El Paso was no picnic either.

Was in Dallas, Tx some years back, got unloaded and my boss, the owner, told me to go to Hope, La and get a load for Fleming Foods in Geneva, Al. The conversation went south real fast. I told him, NO WAY! He proceeded to try to tell me that I would do whatever he said, I WAS HIS EMPLOYEE.--LOL

To make a very long story short, I dropped his empty trailer in West Monroe, La and I bobtailed 900 miles back home. You should have seen his face when I came bobtailing in the next day. We really did not part on good terms--LOL

The bankruptsy was caused by corruption from top to bottom. That Fleming in PA charged $20.00 to use a manual pallet jack and something like $50.00 to use the dock. They ordered the stuff then wanted the driver to pay $50.00 to back into the dock.
All the employees were stealing from the janitor to the top guy.
    Good riddance.
