    Hmm.

How long have you worked for the company that makes this product?

I don't work for the company that makes the product.

The carrier I work for is looking into it and just looking for some honest feedback.

If this tool will really help, I seriously question the ability of the mechanic. I see no saved time there for a qualified tech. It will not work on preset hubs that require ~350 ft/lbs, so can an unqualified tech tell the difference? If a tech cannot set a bearing, can he use this tool correctly?

They claim up to 300% increase in tire life??? I call BS on that, a properly set bearing is a properly set bearing, no matter how it was done. Only a dishonest company would make that kind of claim by comparing doing it right to doing it wrong. I challenge them to prove that. I'll set 2 bearings and let them set 2 with new tires and if there's any measurable difference in tire life in their favor, I'll buy once of those for every axle we own.

    dustinbrock Thanks this.

I just took a look at their website. Boy does that look confusing. I also can't see how they could claim a 300% increase in tire life. If a bearing (or bearings) is/are that badly adjusted that you could gain 3x tire life, tire wear should be the least of your worries (plus your mechanic is probably an idiot)

    dustinbrock Thanks this.

Thank you for the feedback. I agree - 300% increase? Seems pretty lofty! And along the lines of the challenge - I found it interesting that there aren't any reviews anywhere for this product ....

    Thanks again! Much appreciated.

Thank you for the feedback! Agreed with the 300% increase - that's an awful lofty claim! Not to mention, confusion level is a bit elevated!

    Thanks again! Much appreciated.

They probably set one wrong and set one right in a controlled test to be able to make that claim.

I was thinking the same thing...... time for a new mechanic if you've got that problem.

Although....... that being said, in my time I've met 95% retard....... 4% tech who can't do anything their laptop doesn't tell them too...... and 1% real mechanic.

    So nothing would suprise me.
