In the 80"s lot's of drivers were driving under the influence in the new england states drinking & smoking was pretty common back then....

Before the drug test era things were let's say different.....

With the way some drivers can't stay in their lane how can you tell the difference?

Actually that isn't true. All I can tell you about is California, but California Vehicle Code 23152(a) says

Now it does not differentiate between public or private property. And while it is unlikely that a LEO would come onto private property and enforce this, there are instances where it has been done and will continue to be done. A case in point, is an injury or fatal accident. Another case in point, is where some richard cranium is creating some type of disturbance or other problem on private property, (such as a golf course, for example,) and the property owner/manager calls the cops on him. Yeah, you CAN be busted for drunk driving in a golf cart on a golf course. A bit of a reach? Yes, but it has happened, and will happen again.

You're way better off, man. That guy clearly cared nothing for you, but certainly for that load of inanimate junk which he'd have risked your life for. Bottom line: #### that guy. With a serrated stick.

    Hi Big Don,
I guess DWI laws vary from state to state. Here is the DWI law in Texas.

Sec. 49.04. DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED. (a) A person commits an offense if the person is intoxicated while operating a motor vehicle in a public place.

    (40) "Public place" means any place to which the public or a substantial group of the public has access and includes, but is not limited to, streets, highways, and the common areas of schools, hospitals, apartment houses, office buildings, transport facilities, and shops.

About a month ago a driver pulled up to our yard dropped his trailer and Bob tailed to a spot to park. He smashed into a truck bobtail backing. He was drunk, they called the cops and did a field sobriety right in our yard. Cya.
