You've been there a year and a half and are only at .30cpm?
Not trying to be mean , but I just finished training with Werner and they started me at .35cpm.
Now, I don't know your particular case, but I have several years experience in the white collar business world. You've can't just take whatever is thrown at you. You have some leverage. Them paying you that low is crap. However, it's not all on them. You gotta know that you hold leverage with the driver shortage. Force your hand. Like a previous poster said, Werner's business model is 8 months to trainer, and most guys are out the door. Use that.

 

Thats what I thought they were starting OTR guys at now.

 

With two years you should be able to get far better then that

 

Why don't you tell us why everybody should
Be begging to get on this TBC account out of Memphis.
Like what are they doing and how much they're
Bringing home every week.

80 percent of the people on this forum wouldn't give
Werner the time of day anyway,including me.
But give the other 20 percent some info about it.
If all you got is ( better get on that TBC account )
That doesn't tell anybody anything.

 

Ever since the kids took over Werner just isn't the same. I'll never forget that story of the old man setting his Porsche on fire at the Werner terminal because he was P.O d at the way his kid handled a business decision. #### shame when he passed.

 

CL Werner is still alive and back with the company. He is grooming a man named Derrick Leathers to take over the company.CL Werner is the one responsible for the raise for OTR pay starting out. And the story about the Porche is hillarious.

 

Thats what I thought. With that much experience, and a clean record you could get a tanker job making very good money.

 

People keep insulting the OP for 30c a mile, but on a good week he would pull 1500$. Werner also used to have a trainer bonus also, not sure if it is still in effect though. I trained with Werner, and my trainer received 1c for every mile I drove so for the 1st year. So if all your trainees stay on you could easily pull an additional 150-200 a week off the bonus.
