...it's a hustle to peddle frt but the pay is not bad $20 an hr to start, OT after 40 usually
... Takes around 3yrs to top out around $28 an hrpilot trucker and xlsdraw Thank this. -

During my time with FedEx Freight, one of my friends and coworkers there was SDA. Except for a few occasions, our dispatcher did a pretty good job of accommodating his request. I'm pretty sure the only times he got held up were due to delays at a shipper or traffic issues. He's now been there at least a dozen years now. So it's possible that local LTL may be the way to go.
That being said, I'm curious where Galatians 5 and Colossians 2 come into play in the SDA doctrine?Last edited: Jun 5, 2016

Dear Pilot,
RECRUITERS LIE!!!
You MUST, MUST, MUST BE FIRM with your BELIEFS and ADVISE your Company that YOU EXPECT THEM TO RESPECT YOUR BELIEFS!
They Will EITHER accept this or Not.
It really is That Simple.
But you MUST STAND YOUR GROUND.pilot trucker Thanks this. -

Let's make this simple.
Either work when they tell you to, or go to your church and have them give you the money they robbed from someone else.
Religion is a joke. A big fat lie meant to control sheep.
So better yet, go work a deli and stay out of the trucks. Trucks are a 24/7 operation.freightwipper Thanks this. -
I'm sure there are still some guys here who remember the blue laws, where you couldn't drive a commercial truck on Sunday in some states, esp. in New England.I remember trucks piled into the truckstops in Ct. waiting to go into Massachusetts on Sunday at midnite.I believe Mass was the last state to enforce it.The only way you could run on Sunday was if it was by special permit,or if you had perishables.Guys with reefers that were empty would run there units switched on going through there,to make enforcement think they were loaded.
