Trucker at Familly Dollar gets robbed, shoots and kills attacker in self defence

    The driver was trying to unload Coca Cola at a FD and a couple thugs start swiping his load off the truck. After making off with their loot they return again to threaten the driver even more.

    None of the stories I have seen about the incident go into detail about the attackers, but they were considered violent enough to warrant one of them being shot and killed without the driver facing any charges afterwards.

    Having a weapon was probably against company policy, but at least he is alive.

    Got that right! And that theif got what he deserved, just a shame the driver will probably lose his job.

    I can't stand it when relatives of the suspect play the whole "poor me, we're the victim BS". The kid shouldn't be opening his yap and threatening/harming others in the first place. The choices we make dictate the lives we lead.

    I've done FD
    The exposure of valuable freight, along with the fact that the driver has to unload 3000 ####ing boxes puts him In a vulnerable position. Shame on FD they can't even erect loading docks

    FD Threat level is very high as far as Im concerned. there is a number of them and trucks have to wriggle to get to two of them.

    Im a licensed carry myself and stand with the driver. Piss on the job or company policy.
