i wax my windshield every so often keeps the rain off pretty good and them lil critters r easier to clean up after

 

you may need new/better wiper blades LOL

yep, wax works there, chrome bumpers too!

 

Yeah RainX is good. I have a friend who is detail nut and he has used them all. He just uses wax as well and says it is cheaper in the long run than others.

 

Yeah I use Aqua-Pel, its ten times better than rain x and lasts about 6months. I use it on all the glass and my mirrors and it really helps a lot when raining especially on the mirrors.

 

Does any of this stuff do any good on the inside of the windshield/windows? I'm thinking of the haze from cigar/cigarette smoke.

 

another windshield tip is Bon Ami cleanser- if your windshield is grimed and bugged up- it cleans it up very easily- and it's non abrasive so it won't scratch your glass. I've even used it on leather seats before conditioning.

Try it- Bon Ami, then your water displacer product... Works great!
