Private Tobacco Company Trucking Fleets??

RJ Reynolds had there own trucks several years ago don't see them anymore.They didn't deliver cigs.They would us them for shuttling loads to warehouses and raw material pick ups.

 

NO ! 42,000 LBs . Just gives a idea of how many packs are on a load. Hand loaded on the floor.

 

They don't have their own farms why would they have their own trucks? Maybe you could haul all those hazmat chemicals they infuse the 'bacca with!

 

Did some cigs loads in the past real PITA had to call every hours, lightweight for sure but not worth the aggravations.

What i haul now worth whole lot more and i don't have to put up with the BS of cigs loads.

 

Cause it's a load that people want to steal.

 

I know Federal Logistics in East Peoria, Illinois hauls Newport Cigarettes.

 

When I unloaded trucks at Walmart McLane would bring name brand candy and cigarettes and unload themselves. When I was a beverage delivery driver I also noticed them delivering to corner stores and drug stores. Refrigerated if I remember right.
