CR England will give you a grant for trucking school.
KriegHund and John Dewart Thank this. -
when i looked at them they covered the cost of the school but you have to pay it back over the next 15 months of working for them at a low pay.

On a serious note, you might start my googling WIA grant and your state of residence. Here's an article from TTR on it:

I don't know how recent that info is but it seems like a good place to start.JReding Thanks this. -
google " receiving grants and scholarships for trade schools"

I was half-joking about CRE. It's a good place to get a CDL if you aren't able to find a grant. Good luck.KriegHund Thanks this.

Check with your local community college and see if they offer a Trucking program..
I went to one and applied and received a grant. Only paid $300 out of pocket, considering the course was over 3k -
Yes, JTPA.
Qualify, apply, and receive the following:
Fully paid tuition, lunch allowance, and mile allowance.
20 years ago I received $3,500 fully paid CDL-A tuition, $10 a day lunch allowance, and $.26 mile round trip from home of the record to CDL school. -
What you're saying, is you don't want any skin in the game. You can't go through life with the expectancy of everyone else paying your way. Young people today go to college, get grants and loans and once they graduate think they shouldn't have to pay.alghazi Thanks this.
