Bunk ac freightliner century class

    Hey i am having trouble with my bunk ac frezzing up. I have replaced both expansion blocks condenser and dryer and back sensor in the bunk it keeps frezzing up

    I replace the sensor expansion block front and back twice.

    It should be wrapped. I cannot remember well now but we had insulation under there.

    You are going to frost in the heat 100 degrees versus god knows how cold it is inside that pipe.

    Ok will look at that front blowing cold till the back iced up.

    Cooling works on the principle the changing from high pressure to low pressure causes cooling. A/C systems normally use an orfice tube or expansion valve. The evaporator is after that so the cooled refregerant cools the air going through it and into the cab. If you see a frozen line it is likely after a restriction. After the dryer a restricted dryer, after a hose through the fire wall a bad hose. In your case it looks like the inlet hose is on the right and the outlet, frosted over is on the left. I would thank there is a restriction after the evaporator greater than the expansion valve before it causing the line after it to be cold instead of the evaporator.

    Yea i am in the process of taking off the top of the bunk ac to look at the evaporator to see iff it dirty

    what i am talk am talking about is internal, refrigerant restriction, not an air flow restriction.

    Like a line or something i replaced both block could it be a bad comprssor failing from the inside
