What is it with Youtube celebrity truckers?

Check out Mark Staite on YouTube. Very informative and great videos

 

I follow kwbushtrucker on youtube. Rig moves and oversize hauling around Alberta. There was a logging truck driver in Alberta who posts videos too. Think that channel is smilie3232. Both have some good videos.

 

I don't "Do" You tube much. But there are a few who do a #### good job that I enjoy them. Nothing fancy.

I do have a taste for the big jake and turbos that wont quit spooling up or down.



A bit of Boston. Choose carefully thy exit

This one is a truck failing the thermal braking problem downgrade, he's in the center ahead about three trucks.

 

Drove a Canadian built Freightliner yesterday and that turbo sang like a cat that someone stepped on its tail. Sweet. Had 70# of boost. You just don't see that anymore.

 

If it pleases the mods, here is sandstone, 5 miles of 7%, detroit 500, jake and 40K in the back in the rain.

I was thinking of sandstone today after a related posting So here it is. The big difference for me it was not night time nor was it covered in a foot of snow so.. take it with a grain of salt.

 

This is another good channel. My grandparents used to live 5 minutes away from where this guy does his filming. I could watch these videos all day long.


And of course the casualties of logging:

 

Ive got one somewhere in YT Land that has a turbo like that. Screeching to wake the dead on each shift deep in a PA City somewhere for a stop sign at the top of a vertical hill. At the end of the tape the clunk of the clutch taking pressure off sounded like the shaft falling. heh.
